I can't believe it has been since Rush was less then 1 month old since I posted last! That just goes to show how crazy busy you really get with a baby. So much has happened since then. Rush is growing like crazy! He is weighing in at 19 1/2 lbs and 26 inches long. He is eating all kinds of yummy solids now. In fact, I usually have to take him out of his high chair to get him to stop eating. I think he could munch all day long. He went on his first plane ride July 23rd. We went to North Carolina to see Grandpa and Grandma Reisman, Uncle Todd and Aunt Cindy, cousins Jordan and Olivia, Aunt Cindy and Uncle Danny, cousins Daniel, Brittney, Bobby, Zach and sweet boy Ashton. We had so much fun! Very relaxing, lots of pool time, eating and just hanging out with the family. Rush enjoyed playing with his cousin Ashton who is only 8 months older then him.
I got a new job! I am going to be teaching Business and Technology classes at Gordon. I am really looking forward to it. I have been off from my previous job since July 16th, working on finishing up my certification, planning for my classes and hanging out with the little guy and the hubby. I have really enjoyed my last few weeks loving life. Rush is army crawling all over the place. I wouldn't necessarily say that he is "crawling", but he definitely gets ANYWHERE he wants. He also has 2 bottom teeth!
Aunt Blaine, Uncle Casey and cousin Mayci have moved back to Stephenville too! Rush and Mayci have so much fun together. Rush watches Mayci's every move and trys his hardest to do the same. I know it is only a matter of time the two of them will be running wild, wreaking havoc on us all. HAHAHA! It is fun watching them play together and learn from each other.
Chris is almost finished recruiting for this coming year. We are looking forward to getting this last one signed! It is looking like we will have another great group of guys this year and we are looking forward to spending more time with them in the coming months. I love getting to know the new guys at the first of the year and spending time with the returners too. They all adore Rush (they all think they are his big brothers). He is definitely not going to have to worry about being picked on in life because he will always have about 15 guys watching his back all the time.
Our life is going wonderful! Chris and I couldn't ask for anything more. God has truly blessed us beyond belief with our beautiful son, amazing families, great jobs and our great relationship.
That's the highlights of what's going on in our world!

Rush is HERE!
Ok, so I know this took forever for me to post. Sorry, I've been a little busy taking care of my sweet little boy. I haven't wanted to get on here very often. I feel like I'm completely out of touch with the world. Oh well, my life is much sweeter now! So Rush made his appearance on Tuesday, January 26th at 5:31pm. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. He is a happy healthy little man and has two parents who are absolutely 150% head over hills in love!

36 Weeks 1 Day
Today I am 36 weeks and 1 day! I can't believe it has gone by SO fast. I know I haven't posted in FOREVER, but I have been so busy and a little tired. Wonder why? Well we had an appointment 2 weeks ago in Fort Worth. It wasn't worth our trip over there because we had to wait 2 hours and she did a 10 minute sono and then wouldn't tell or show us any of his measurements. Then, the doctor wasn't even there to see us OR look at his chart. After much frustration, all we could get out of her was that he weighed 6 lbs 11 oz! Yep, that's right, 2 weeks ago, he already weighed more then he should now. According to babycenter.com, he should almost weigh 6 lbs this week. Who knows...
Well I started my series of weekly appointments yesterday. It was the first day he checked my cervix. I will go ahead and warn you that the next little bit of info you should read at your own risk. It may be TMI for some people. He said I am dilated to 1/2 cm and 50% effaced. His head is not engaged yet. He tried stretching my cervix too. That hurt by the way.He also said that is more then most people are at 36 weeks, especially with their first baby. He doesn't necessarily think it is going to be super soon, but he also doesn't think I will make it to my due date.
I want to keep him in until at least Sunday, and then it's free game! I will probably start doing all of those old tales Sunday that say they induce labor. HAHA...who knows if any of them work. I guess we will see.
The house is pretty much completely in order now for him. I have a few small things to do and a few things left to put on the walls in his room. I will post some pics of his room once I have it done.
Here are a couple of pics of me and my belly yesterday. I will try my best to do a better job posting these last couple of weeks! Until next time...
By the way...I am selling Scentsy now. You can check out my website at www.scentsy.com/mattiereisman. Email me at mattie.reisman@gmail.com if you would like to place an order!
